INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Apply lawn fertilizer when the moss is in full growth.

Do not use during drought or frost. Do not apply in windy weather to prevent granules or dust from drifting onto patios, paved areas, and into ponds.

Apply only to existing lawns.

Do not mow the grass for 3 days before application and for at least 4 days after treatment with FERTIMOSS.

How do you use lawn fertilizer?

• Hand-spreading: Mark off the area to be treated. Wear gloves and spread 80 g/m² evenly over the marked-off area.

• With a spreader: mark off the area to be treated.

Spread 80 g per m² evenly over the marked-off area using a calibrated granular spreader (e.g., Wolf Garten model WE330, spreading width 41 cm, setting no. 5).

Dosage: 80 g per m²

Ideal time: March – April – May – September ADDITIONAL USAGE INFORMATION

• The treated moss turns black and dies off.

Any discoloration of the turf is temporary.

• Avoid walking on the treated area for at least 24 hours after treatment.

• If the product is spilled on pavers, tiles, concrete, etc., brush it off immediately to prevent stains and discoloration.

If it does not rain within 48 hours of application, water the treated areas yourself.

• Keep children and pets away from treated surfaces until the granules have been absorbed into the soil after watering.

• Remove dead moss by raking or scarifying 7–14 days after treatment.

• A re-treatment may be necessary in case of heavy moss growth or if the moss returns.

• Maximum of 2 applications per 12 months. Allow a minimum of 40 days between treatments.

Be sure not to contaminate water with the product or its packaging.

To protect aquatic organisms, keep a distance of 1 meter from surface water and do not treat within this zone.

Limiting moss growth requires year-round care of your lawn. Moss control with FERTIMOSS is just one—albeit important—part of this.

The following non-chemical measures can help prevent moss growth:

• Ensure that the lawn is healthy and free of weeds, disease, and pests. Regular fertilization and maintenance are essential for this.

• Adequate aeration of the lawn is important to promote the flow of water and nutrients to the roots

• Regular raking or dethatching to remove dead moss and fallen leaves is therefore recommended, and it prevents the formation of thatch (an accumulation of fibrous dead material).

These measures, combined with the use of FERTIMOSS, enable successful moss control.

FERTIMOSS is the powerful solution against moss in lawns. The product quickly kills the moss while simultaneously nourishing the grass, so that any bare spots (for example, after aerating) quickly fill in again.

The fine granules are much more pleasant to use than ordinary iron sulfate and, thanks to their uniform grain size, can be spread evenly and in the correct dosage.

This product may cause stains on pavers and paths. Therefore, avoid spilling it on these surfaces and immediately sweep any spilled granules back into the lawn.
