Article 1 - What personal data do we process?

1.1. Hermie Online BV processes your Personal Data as part of its activities. This includes:
− Category 1: on the basis of cookies: your IP address and details about your visit to our Website;
− Category 2: when registering or via one of the forms on our Website: your surname and first name, possibly the name of your company and VAT number, address details, your e-mail and any other details you submit to us in the free input field;
− Category 3: when you call or e-mail us: your e-mail address and/or telephone number, as well as the data you disclose yourself;
− Category 4: when subscribing to our newsletter: your e-mail address;
− Categorie 5: bij het plaatsen van een bestelling: je naam en voornaam, eventueel de naam van je bedrijf en BTW-nummer, adresgegevens en je e-mail. 
 Category 6: When you apply, we will only process necessary personal data such as your name, contact details (address, phone number, e-mail address), date of birth, place of birth, age, gender, CV and information on education and work experience. If relevant to the vacancy, we may also process data from personality tests , references and data published on social media.

1.2. Hermie Online BV may collect your Personal Data in different ways:
 a. Through your registration and use of the Website;
 b. Our Website uses cookies and similar techniques to collect some Personal Data. For more information on the use of cookies, see article 7. Below you can read how we process your data, where we store them (or have them stored), which security techniques we use and to whom the data can be viewed.

Article 2 - What do we use your personal data for?

2.1. General purposes: Hermie Online BV will only use your Personal Data for:
- Category 1: Looking after and improving our Website and including Personal Data in anonymous statistics, with the legal basis being your explicit, prior consent on your first visit to our Website;

- Category 2 and 3: Answering questions and information requests, with the legal basis being the performance of a service you have requested;

- Category 2, 3 and 4: Direct marketing, newsletters, actions and promotions by Hermie Online BV itself, with the legal basis being our legitimate interest with regard to existing clients or your explicit, prior permission if you are not yet a client of Hermie Online BV. You can indicate at any time that you no longer wish to receive our newsletters via the opt-out option in our newsletters or by contacting us directly by e-mail or telephone;

- Category 5: The delivery and invoicing of products or services ordered by you, with the legal basis being the performance of an agreement you have requested and for which the processing of your Personal Data is necessary or because the law requires it or because Hermie Online BV has a legitimate interest to do so. 

We analyse your purchases, with the legal basis of our legitimate interest, in order to then provide you with information about products that fall entirely within your areas of interest. This way, we can serve you better and provide you with personalised recommendations that match your preferences.

Article 3 - How we share your data with third parties

If we ever cease or transfer our activities to someone else, for example because we go bankrupt or sell our activities, this may mean that your Personal Data will be transferred to third parties who will take over all or part of our activities. In that case, Hermie Online BV will always inform you in advance to the extent possible, but you understand that this is not technically or commercially feasible in all circumstances.

In rare cases, we may be required to disclose Personal Data on the basis of a court order or to comply with other mandatory laws or regulations. We will try to inform you in advance to the best of our ability, unless we cannot do so for legal reasons.

The current list can be obtained upon simple request by email. We always try to make maximum use of European suppliers and try to keep your data within Europe whenever possible. If we do need to use non-European third parties, we will ensure that your data is as safe outside Europe as it is here in Europe. Where necessary, we conclude Standard Contractual Clauses with these partners and provide additional safeguards.

You also have the right to oppose the use of personal data for direct marketing and analysis of your purchases, purposes at any time, even without having to provide a reason. You have the right to request your Personal Data in digital and readable form and/or to have it transferred to another service provider of your choice.
