Of course, this high-quality pool also comes with a powerful filter to keep your pool beautifully clean. This Metal Frame pool comes with a cartridge filter pump with a capacity of 2,271 L/h. This filter pump uses Type A filter cartridges. Replace the cartridges regularly so the pump can filter the water optimally.

• Option (sold separately): Safety ladder

Swimming and splashing around in the water is, of course, great fun, but at Hermie, we put safety first! After all, a slip can happen faster than you think. A sturdy ladder ensures you can get in and out of the pool easily and safely. Choose a ladder that folds up or has removable rungs so little daredevils can’t climb into the pool.

• Option (sold separately): Protective cover

Finished splashing around? Then cover the outdoor pool with a protective cover to keep it nice and clean for your next dip. A protective cover keeps falling leaves, twigs, and other debris out of the clear water. Plus, the water will cool down more slowly thanks to this cover. The cover is perforated in the middle so water doesn’t pool on it. You can easily secure the cover to the edge of the pool using the nylon drawstring.

Our tip: Prevent the cover from sinking into the water by placing an inflatable ring under the cover on the water’s surface.

• Option (sold separately): Pool Heater
Do you want a pool that’s always at a comfortable temperature? Then choose a pool heater. With a heat pump or heating mat, you can easily raise the water temperature by a few degrees. Place a solar cover over the pool to keep the water warm longer and let the sun naturally heat the pool. This cover has an insulating function and partially protects your pool from debris. Because the solar cover floats on the pool (and isn’t secured over the pool’s edges), debris can still enter your pool along the sides of the cover. So this isn’t a substitute for a pool cover.

• Option (sold separately): Ground sheet
A ground sheet keeps the bottom of the pool clean. That saves you a lot of cleaning work when you put your pool away in the fall!

Setting Up the Metal Frame

One of the strengths of this pool is that it can be set up in under half an hour.

The package includes a detailed manual that walks you through the assembly process step by step (no extra tools required). Here’s a quick overview:

Step 1: Choose a spot with a flat, level surface. Make sure there’s at least 1 meter of extra space around the pool for accessories, such as the filter pump.

Step 2: Remove pebbles, twigs, or other sharp objects that could damage the pool.

Step 3: Ensure the ground is firm and lay down pool tiles if needed. If you’re using these tiles, bury them flush with the ground. On soft or sandy ground, the legs may sink, making the frame less stable. Lay down the ground sheet.

Step 4: Spread the liner out in the center of the ground sheet. Place the frame parts in their correct positions. Caution: Do not drag the tubes or liner to prevent damage. Let the liner sit in the sun for a while to make it more pliable, and sprinkle the tubes with talcum powder.

Step 5: First, insert the horizontal tubes into the sleeves, then the T-pieces and corner pieces. Finally, attach the legs and side supports.

Step 6: Check that the drain fittings on the inside and outside of the pool are securely fastened. The tension straps, U-shaped side supports, and vertical legs must all be pulled tight and positioned straight.

Step 7: Fill the pool with 3 cm of water to check that it is level and has no leaks. The folds on the bottom should be smoothed out as much as possible. You can do this by pushing the fold from the inside out where the wall and bottom meet. Only do this with bare feet!

Step 8: Continue filling the pool and adjust the tubes as needed so that the tension flaps lie flat and taut throughout. Are the tubes on your rectangular pool sagging inward? If so, you’ll need to fill the pool a little more. This will correct itself naturally due to the water pressure.
