Barenbrug SOS Lawn Repair Grass Seed has been specially selected for rapid germination, even in winter at low temperatures as low as 4°C. 🌱
This helps fill in bare spots in your lawn more quickly, so you can enjoy a beautiful, even lawn all year round. SOS Lawn Repair is suitable for annual quick repairs and for overseeding after dethatching. SOS Lawn Repair germinates at around 4 degrees, while street grass doesn’t germinate until 8–10 degrees. This is how SOS Lawn Repair combats street grass. SOS Lawn Repair also germinates very quickly, so after about two weeks, you’ll have an even lawn again without any bare spots.
Remarkable results have been achieved worldwide with this grass seed featuring patented SOS technology. SOS Lawn Repair was used in large soccer stadiums and even during the World Cup in South Africa because it restores fields damaged by play extremely quickly. In the sports world, Barenbrug SOS Lawn Repair is used very frequently. Field renovation is essential for sports fields in the winter to ensure the fields are playable again as quickly as possible. Overseeding with SOS® guarantees a grass coverage of at least 60% within one month. That’s a full 18 days faster than standard mixtures containing perennial ryegrass.
Composition of Barenbrug SOS Lawn Repair grass seed:
- 50% perennial ryegrass
- 50% SOS Grass Technology
The composition of the grass seed may sometimes vary (slightly) from the description. This depends on the availability and harvest of the various grass types contained in the seed. Since this is a natural product, it is not always possible to guarantee a 100% identical product, as is the case with synthetic products. Barenbrug carefully selects the best grass varieties for their seed mixtures, ensuring a high germination rate. If a particular type of grass does not meet standards, they will substitute it with another type of grass as a suitable replacement in their mixtures.
Suitable for an area of 750 m²
Seeding rate:
2–5 kg per 100 m²
Mowing height:
20–40 mm
