What is the difference between string-, cluster- & micro cluster lighting?
The bulbs of the classic Christmas lighting, also called string lighting, are slightly larger & further apart (± 18 bulbs/meter) than (micro) cluster lighting. Therefore, this type of lighting is often a bit cheaper. With cluster lighting, the lights are playfully arranged on both sides of the cord & are very close together (± 160 lights/meter). Because of this, the Christmas lights create a magical effect in the tree & are slightly pricier. And compromise between the two types of lights is the microcluster. These lights are a bit smaller and closer together than the classic lights (± 50 lights/meter) but not as abundant as cluster lights. You can read more about it here!
