Barenbrug Mow Saver grass seed is a play sports lawn grass seed that is slow-growing. 🌱

However, it does have rapid germination and establishment which gives you a green grass carpet quickly. Because less cut grass is slow-growing it requires far fewer mowings to keep the grass in top condition. This makes this grass seed ideal for use in gardens and parks. It is also very suitable when using a robotic mower.

Less frequent mowing of slow-growing grass also affects the mass of clippings produced annually. Practical trials show that Less Mowing as a park grass forms 50% less leaf mass on an annual basis compared to a standard mixture. So this also means that there is 50% less leaf litter and the need for frequent mowing is gone! You can thus reduce the number of mowings by 35%!

• 100% LMT varieties (Less Mowing Technology)
• 15% Koeleria macrantha (Torch grass)
• 25% Lolium perenne (tallgrass)
• 10% Festuca rubra commutata (Red fescue common)
• 25% Festuca rubra rubra (Red fescue vigorous)
• 25% Poa pratensis (Field bromegrass)

Suitable for an area of 500-600m²

Sowing density: 2-3kg per 100m²

Cutting height: 20-40mm.
