This grass mixture grows well in both sun and shade. Shadow also creates a dense lawn, making it harder for moss and weeds to rear their heads. Due to its high treading tolerance, this grass seed is extremely suitable for gardens where children or pets play. This grass seed is also suitable for sowing an ornamental lawn because this grass is fine-leaved and has a high ornamental value. The varieties used in Shadow grass seed ensure that a dense turf is obtained. This prevents bare spots, making it a very suitable mixture for both ornamental and play lawn. Moss often grows in the shade, but thanks to the density of this grass, you have a beautiful lawn even in the shade!

Innovation award winner: Shadow uses the variety Barcampsia. This variety was awarded the Innovation Prize after its introduction due to its combination of high shade tolerance, early spring growth, fast germination and the fact that it is very resistant to harsh winters.

• 20% Red Fescue - common
• 20% Field meadowgrass
• 20% Red fescue - fine
• 20% Fescue

The composition of the grass seed may sometimes differ (slightly) from the description. This depends on the availability and harvest of the various types of grass the grass seed contains. Since it is a natural product, it is not always possible to guarantee a 100% identical product as with artificial products. Barenbrug carefully selects the best grasses for their seed mixtures, with a high germination percentage. Should a particular type of grass not be satisfactory, they switch to another type of grass as a worthy substitute in their mixtures.
