Potting soil ideal for acid-loving plants such as heather, azalea, rhododendron, skimmia, blue hydrangea, pieris, camellia, pernettya, calluna, gaultheria and many plants of Japanese origin. This mixture has naturally low acidity (pH) and contains extra iron for a deep green color.
Directions for use:
- Cover the bottom of the new pot with a layer of DCM Hydro grains.
- Partially fill the pot with potting soil, leaving enough space for the root ball. Remove the plant from the old pot and carefully remove as much of the old potting soil as possible from the root ball
- Place the plant in the new pot and further fill with potting soil. Leave a pouring rim of about 2 cm. Press the potting soil down well.
- Sprinkle the pot with DCM Hydro grains or DCM Decorative bark. This prevents splashing of potting soil when watering and ensures that the potting soil does not dry out as quickly.
