Potting soil with coconut fiber and clay for potting southern plants such as olives, citrus and figs. Contains pumice which makes the potting soil extra airy and provides an extra water buffer during dry periods. Also contains clay and coconut fiber so that nutrients and water are better retained and evenly distributed. Applicable in the organic garden.
Directions for use:
- Cover the bottom of the new pot with a layer of DCM Hydro grains.
- Partially fill the pot with potting soil, leaving enough space for the root ball. Remove the plant from the old pot and carefully remove as much of the old potting soil as possible from the root ball
- Place the plant in the new pot and further fill with potting soil. Leave a pouring rim of about 2 cm. Press the potting soil down well.
- Sprinkle the pot with DCM Hydro grains or DCM Decorative bark. This prevents splashing of potting soil when watering and ensures that the potting soil does not dry out as quickly.
