The strengths of our Prism Frame pools at a glance:
- Sturdy & durable above ground pool
- Easy & quick installation
- Robust tubular construction for extra stability
Supplied accessories
- Cartridge filter pump (2,271 L/h)
Of course, this quality pool also needs a powerful filter. This will keep your pool wonderfully clean. This Prism Frame pool comes with a cartridge filter pump with a capacity of 2,271 L/h. This filter pump works on type A filter cartridges. Replace the cartridges regularly so that the pump can optimally filter the water.
🙋Tip from poolboy Marcel:
A pool not only provides cooling & fun but also requires maintenance. So keep a close eye on the pool values (pH, chlorine & alkaline values) to enjoy your pool safely and as long as possible. Not sure how to summer-proof your pool? Then be sure to read "this blog article" to get your pool ready for swimming in 5 steps.
- Safety ladder
Swimming & splashing in the water is of course super fun, but we opt for safety first! A slip happens faster than you think. A sturdy ladder makes it easy & safe to get in and out of the pool. Choose a ladder that folds up or with removable steps so little daredevils can't climb into the pool.
We also recommend these accessories!
- Option (sold separately): Protective cover
Finished splashing around? Then close the outdoor pool with a cover to keep it nice and clean for your next dip. A cover keeps falling leaves, twigs or other debris out of the clear water. In addition, the water will also cool down less quickly with this cover. The tarp is perforated in the middle so the water does not stay on the tarp. With the nylon drawstring, you can easily attach the tarp to the edge of the pool.
Our tip: prevent the tarp from sinking into the water & place an inflatable strap under the tarp on the water.
- Option (sold separately): Groundsheet
A groundsheet keeps the bottom of the pool clean. This will save you a lot of cleaning work when storing your pool in the fall!
Do you want extra protection for the underside of the pool? Then choose floor tiles - suitable for both garden and terrace.
- Option (sold separately): Pool heating
Do you want a pool that is always nice and warm? Then choose pool heating. With a heat pump or mat, you can easily heat the water a few degrees. Put a solar cover on the pool to also keep the water warm longer & let the pool naturally heat up from the sun. This cover has an insulating function and partially protects your pool from dirt. Because the solar cover floats on the pool (and is not fastened over the edges of the pool), dirt can still get into your pool along the sides of the cover. So this is not an alternative to a cover.
Setting up the Prism Frame
One of the strengths of this pool is that it takes less than 45 minutes to set up.
The packaging includes a detailed manual that tells you step by step how to assemble the pool (without extra tools). We like to list it for you:
Step 1: Pick a spot with a flat and level surface. Allow at least 1m extra space around the pool for accessories, such as the filter pump.
Step 2: Remove pebbles, twigs or other sharp objects that can damage the pool.
Step 3: Provide a solid surface and lay down pool tiles if necessary. Are you using these tiles? If so, dig them in at ground level. If the ground is soft or sandy, the legs may sink, and the frame will not be as stable. Lay down the groundsheet.
Step 4: Spread the liner in the middle of the groundsheet. Place the frame parts in the correct position. Caution: do not drag the tubes or liner to avoid damage. Leave the liner in the sun for a while to make it more flexible, and sprinkle the tubes with talcum powder.
Step 5: Put the horizontal tubes in the sleeve first, then the tees and corner pieces. Last, place the legs & side supports.
Step 6: Check that the step of the water drainage on the inside and outside of the pool are tight. The tension flaps, U-shaped side supports/vertical legs should all be tightened and straight.
Step 7: Fill the pool with 3cm of water to check that the pool is level and has no leaks. The folds on the bottom should be made as smooth as possible. This can be done by pushing the crease from the inside out where the wall & bottom are joined. Do this only with bare feet!
Step 8: Continue filling the pool, correcting the tubes as needed so that the tension flaps are flat and taut everywhere. Do the tubes at your rectangular pool hang inward? Then you need to continue filling the pool for a while. The pressure of the water will automatically correct this.
