DIY make your own seed boxes from eggshells
With eggs, you can do so much more than just fry an omelette. The egg shells also serve perfectly as biodegradable jar.

Afterwards, regularly moisten the soil with a plant sprayer. Once the plants start to grow, you can simply place them in the ground with their eggshells. You can also break the eggshell and crumble it around the plants as a barrier against hungry snails. You can also use the egg cartons as seedpots. This way, you have come full circle and your eggs & egg cartons have a second life!
