What do you use seedling soil for?
1. Ideal for sowing vegetables and annual and biennial flowers
2. Great for taking cuttings of ornamental plants
3. Enriched with sand for better drainage
Why use seedling soil & not potting soil?
Withseedlings it is important not to use regular potting soil. Quality potting soil is enriched with fertilizer so the plants will grow well but this is just not what we want for seedlings. The seedlings would get a sturdy growth spurt and you would be left with bigger but flabby plants. We want to grow strong plants.
