This Bestway solar cover is round with a diameter of 289 cm. The cover is suitable for the Bestway Fast Set, Steel Pro & Steel Pro Max pools with a diameter of 305 cm.
This Bestway solar cover is a cover that allows you to protect the water from dirt. The cover is easy to apply and keeps leaves, dirt and insects out of the pool water. The special bubble wrap is insulating and ensures that your pool is heated in an environmentally friendly way when the sun shines and the pool water cools down less quickly at night. In addition, the tarp keeps enough space to ensure that the swimming water continues to breathe. After the summer, you can store it again until the next year in the convenient storage bag.
Installation tips
- Place the solar cover with the bubbles down on the water.
- The solar cover must not come into contact with chemicals such as chlorine. Otherwise, the bubbles will become brittle & may break.
- Do not place the solar cover in the sun when not in use. This will cause the tarp to get too hot and the bubbles may crack.
- Put a solar cover under the tarp. This way the water evaporates less quickly, stays warm & clean longer.
What is the difference between a pool cover & cover?
- A pool cover floats on the water and its purpose is to warm the pool, but also to retain this heat longer. So a pool cover is smaller than the surface of your pool. Thanks to a solar cover, your pool is heated in an environmentally friendly (& inexpensive!) way, and the pool cools down less quickly during the night hours.
The cover also protects your pool from dirt but because the cover floats on the water, leaves can still float at the edge of the pool. Want to fully protect the pool from falling leaves? Then you need a cover!
- A cover is larger than your pool & stretches over the edge of the pool. This will keep the pool free of swirling leaves (and other debris such as insects) & allow you to enjoy clear water longer.
