An old, popular Italian vegetable, eating both the leaves (slightly spicy) and the nearly-flowering yellow flower (like broccoli). The Cima di Rapa, as the Italian calls it, is closely related to flowering cabbage varieties in the Far East. This variety gives a large harvest of small flower stalks.
Sow: late June-Sept in rows directly on the growing spot.
