Habanero Pepper Mix Capsicum chinense
The Habanero originates from Suriname. These peppers are very hot and also have a distinctive aroma. If used in soup, it is recommended not to chop the peppers but to let them cook briefly whole!
Indoor sowing time: sow indoors or, preferably, in a small greenhouse from mid-January through early June at a minimum temperature of 20 °C.
Harvest time: August through October
Sowing instructions: transplant after about 7 weeks, spacing plants 70x50 cm apart. Train the plants using twine or bamboo stakes.
