Fill a flower pot with fine potting soil, place 1 pre-sown seed mat on top of this and cover it with a thin layer of soil. Place the pot on a saucer and make the soil moist. Preferably place in the light (about 20C), for example on the windowsill. If you want a large herb plant, it is best to carefully transplant the young plants into a large flowerpot when they are about 6 to 7 cm tall.
