Herald is a very productive pod. This variety is very early and produces an abundance of beautiful, light green, long, tender pods with a fine sweet taste. Sow from early April to mid-May in the garden in rows, about 2-3 cm deep. This variety is rather rangy and is best grown in gauze; the height is approx. 150 cm. Improvement of the varieties 'Hendriks' and 'Forty Days'.
