The Nicola (cross: Clivia x coderas) is a semi-early potato variety that is harvested between 110-130 days. The recommended minimum planting distance is 30-35 cm in the rows and 55-60 cm between rows (a larger distance can provide additional protection against diseases). This seed potato is well resistant/resistant to potato blight (Phytophthora), has a nice yield and very long storage time. The harvested tubers of this firm cooking plant potato are light yellow with yellow skin and are of good quality for use in cooking (boiling, frying, salad). These plant potatoes come in a bag.
Tip: For any fertilization, Potassium is the most important and provides strength to the plant and increases resistance to disease, pests and drought. Phosphorus, which ensures the development of the roots of the plants, is better added in moderation and nitrogen in order not to weaken the plant, better avoided. Seaweed lime and compost are also always a source of additional minerals that benefit your potatoes.
