Classic, sturdy mole and vole traps that quickly and painlessly eliminate these animals thanks to their powerful striking force. The traps are made of copper-plated steel wire. They can be set up quickly and reused time and time again. Dig open a mole tunnel and set a trap. For better results, you can also set traps at both ends of the tunnel at the same time: this way, you can catch the animals coming from either direction. Then cover the hole again with soil or a sod. To attract voles or field mice, you can place a small piece of carrot or apple behind the wire trap.
- Dig a hole about 15 cm deep where you think you’ve found a mole tunnel
- Place the tensioned trap in a mole tunnel
- Cover the trap again with loose soil or a sod so that no light can enter the tunnel
- Check after 2 days to see if the mole has been caught. If not, move the trap to another tunnel.
