Edialux Ferri Limas are ecological slug pellets containing 1% iron phosphate, a substance that occurs naturally in the soil. The pellets swell, absorb water from moist soil and become attractive to slugs. After eating the pellets, the slugs stop eating, retreat to their hiding place where they die. Thus, no dead slugs are found in the garden.
It is safe to use for animals such as hedgehogs and birds. Ferri-Limas is rainproof for up to 14 days and little susceptible to mold growth. No waiting period is required before harvesting.
