Flowering and growth

Dahlia 'Peaches' blooms from early summer until the first frost. The flowers are medium-sized 12cm and have a round, almost ball-like appearance as the petals curl elegantly backwards. The plants grow about 100cm tall and produce long stems, making them easy to use as cut flowers. The more often you cut flowers, the more new buds appear.

Location and care

Plant the tubers after the last frost in loose, nutritious soil and choose a sunny spot. During dry periods, give a little extra water so the plants continue to grow well. Removing spent flowers keeps the blooms rich and long-lasting. In winter, you can dig out the tubers and store them frost-free, or protect them with a thick layer of mulch if the winter is mild.
