Beautiful and classic, Dahlia Dinnerplate Café au Lait is a gorgeous Dahlia that blooms in a beautiful vintage hue; soft pink, creamy white. Hard to describe, but gorgeous in the garden.

This fantastic summer bloomer is native to Mexico. They bloom beginning in July and continue to produce flowers until frost sets in. They grow about 110 cm high.

You plant them in your garden from April to the end of May. Put them preferably in groups of about 3 pieces. The planting distance between them is about 45 cm and the planting depth is about 8 cm. After planting, it is best to keep the soil well moist. Keep the tubers dry and airy until planting. These dahlias are cultivated tubers

By allowing the main bud to grow and removing the side buds (called thieving), beautiful large flowers are formed.

These are extremely suitable as cut flowers. It is best to cut the flowers early in the morning or in the late afternoon. Only cut fully developed flowers.
