Here’s how to choose the perfect spot for your feeder!
• Hang the feeder high up on tree branches or at a feeding station so that house cats and neighborhood cats can’t reach it! Ideally, place it near shrubs or trees with prickly leaves or thorns.
• Keep the feeding area clean to prevent pests from gathering or the birds from getting sick.
• Don’t forget to always provide a bowl of fresh water! It’s especially hard for birds to find fresh water during the winter months, when birdbaths, fountains, and ponds freeze over.
