Bûten Gift - "Forest" Pole Feeder for 800 g of peanuts - green

Would you like to give your little feathered friends a helping hand during the winter months? 🐦 ❄ Fill this stand-up feeder with delicious peanuts so they can enjoy a tasty treat!

The feeder stands on a pole (70 cm high), so you can easily stake it into the ground at a spot of your choice in your garden. Thanks to its sturdy, powder-coated metal construction, it can easily withstand the elements.

This seed silo holds 800 gr of peanuts. The feeder is also easy to refill and clean thanks to its twist-off lid.

With this feeder, you don’t need to use seeds in mesh bags, which is better for the environment but, above all, safer for the birds. That way, they can’t get their feet stuck in the mesh!

Did you know that: birds that stay here for the winter can lose up to 10% of their body weight during the winter months? Treat the garden birds to a flying buffet of calorie-rich tit balls to help them make up for this weight loss ;) Or how about a tasty cake with mealworms and fruit pieces for dessert? Check out our selection of bird food and feeders/drinking bowls here.

Here’s how to choose the perfect spot for your feeder!
• Hang the feeder high up on tree branches or at a feeding station so that house cats and neighborhood cats can’t reach it! Ideally, place it near shrubs or trees with prickly leaves or thorns.
• Keep the feeding area clean to prevent pests from gathering or the birds from getting sick.
• Don’t forget to always provide a bowl of fresh water! It’s especially hard for birds to find fresh water during the winter months, when birdbaths, fountains, and ponds freeze over.

Every bird eats what suits its beak
Did you know that blue tits, in particular, are crazy about suet balls?! Sparrows and finches, on the other hand, love seeds and peanuts, and blackbirds love sweet raisins.
