Looking for a real eye-catcher? The Baltus Tulipa Parkiet Mix adds an exotic touch to your garden! These striking parrot tulips (Liliaceae) stand out for their irregularly serrated and often twisted petals. 🦜 It’s as if they’ve stepped right out of a painting. Plant the bulbs in the fall in a sunny to lightly shaded, well-drained spot. As soon as spring arrives, you’ll be rewarded with an unparalleled display of color.
- Unique appearance: The fringed and twisted petals create a playful and downright exotic look in the border. ✨
- Beautiful combinations: Pair them with more subtle spring bloomers like Muscari or Allium, so these parquet tulips really steal the show.
- Tip: Parrot tulips also look stunning in a vase; cut them at an angle and give them fresh water for a colorful and unique bouquet in your home! 💐
What does the parrot tulip symbolize? The tulip generally represents perfect love, but the expressive parrot tulip adds an extra dimension: passion and creativity. Their wild and unpredictable shapes remind us that nature won’t be forced into a mold. Ideal for the garden lover who enjoys a creative and carefree garden!
