The fast-acting chlorine granules increase the concentration of disinfectants in the water almost immediately. It is important to first ensure the pH level is correct (ideally 7.2). Only then will the chlorine be properly absorbed into the water.
Dosage:
• Shock treatment:
moderately green water: 10 mg/L
very green water: 15 mg/L
• Continuous dosing: 1 mg/L
Instructions for Use:
• Shock treatment: Pour the granules directly into the skimmer or another reservoir, or distribute them throughout the entire pool while the filtration system is running. In windy conditions, dissolve the amount of granules needed for the treatment in water in a bucket beforehand, using a maximum concentration of 40 g/L.
• Add chlorine only when no one is in the pool.
• Do not allow access to the pool until the concentration has dropped to 1 mg/L.
Storage:
• Shelf life: 20 months.
• Store below 30 °C.
• Store away from light.
• Store in a dry place.
• Keep out of reach of children and non-target animals/pets.
The ideal chlorine level is between 1 and 2 ppm.
