Bûten Gift - XL "Forest" Feeder for 1 kg of seeds & scattered feed - green

Would you like to give your little feathered friends a helping hand during the winter months? 🐦 ❄ Then fill this feeder with delicious seeds. That way, they can enjoy a tasty treat!

This XL seed silo can hold up to 1 kg of loose seed. That way, the garden birds can eat plenty of seeds—like sunflower seeds—and you won’t have to refill the feeder as often. The feeder is also easy to refill and clean thanks to its twist-off lid. The sealed plastic “tube” keeps the seeds dry in rainy weather and allows the right amount to fall down.

With this feeder, you don’t need to use seeds in mesh bags, which is better for the environment but, above all, safer for the birds. That way, they can’t get their feet stuck in the mesh!

Did you know that: birds that stay here for the winter can lose up to 10% of their body weight during the winter months? Treat the garden birds to a flying buffet of calorie-rich tit balls to compensate for this weight loss ;) Or how about a tasty cake with mealworms and fruit pieces for dessert? Check out our selection of bird food and feeders/drinking bowls here.

Here’s how to choose the perfect spot for your feeder!
• Hang the feeder high up on tree branches or at a feeding station so that house cats and neighborhood cats can’t reach it! Ideally, place it near shrubs or trees with prickly leaves or thorns.
• Keep the feeding area clean to prevent pests from gathering or the birds from getting sick.
• Don’t forget to always provide a bowl of fresh water! It’s especially hard for birds to find fresh water during the winter months, when birdbaths, fountains, and ponds freeze over.

Every bird eats what suits its beak
Did you know that blue tits, in particular, love fat balls?! Sparrows and finches, on the other hand, are crazy about seeds and peanuts, and blackbirds love sweet raisins.
