What is the difference between stabilized and non-stabilized chlorine?
Stabilized chlorine contains cyanic acid in addition to active chlorine.

What are the advantages of stabilized chlorine?
- Better protection from sunlight
Because the chlorine contains cyanoic acid, it is less likely to be broken down by sunlight. This makes stabilized chlorine the ideal choice for outdoor pools that get a lot of sun.
- Less chlorine needed
Because the chlorine breaks down less quickly, you need less of it. That's better for your wallet!
- More stable water quality
The chlorine level fluctuates less, keeping bacteria & algae under better control.

Dose
- Maintenance:
Every 2 days (preferably in the evening) 40g per 10m³
- Shock (for turbid/green water):
120-160g per 10m³

Use
- Upon addition, ensure that the filter system is in operation. Preferably open the product in open air and while out of the wind. Dissolve the granules in a bucket of water and pour evenly over the entire surface of the pool/spa. Never add water to the product.
- After addition, always check chlorine and cyanoic acid levels before operating the pool. Do not use the pool/spa until the chlorine level is less than 2 ppm. The maximum cyanoic acid content of 70 ppm (70 mg/l) must not be exceeded. The dosages depend on the temperature and use of the pool.
