The Platinum Sun & Shade Coolfit® harmonica shade cloth B290xL300cm in the color Anthracite is very versatile and a real summer must-have for your garden or terrace. 🌞 The fabric runs over stainless steel cables and can be manually pulled open and closed. The open structure of the fabric gives a pleasant, spacious feeling and is water- and wind-permeable.

The fabric provides optimal protection against harmful UV rays; up to 95% UV protection. Strong material: the awning is made of strong HDPE woven polyester fabric of 285g/m². The fabric is supplied with mounting hardware; pulleys, ribs, steel cables, rope and tensioners and is easy to install using the supplied installation instructions and installation videos on the website.

1. Determine the shape of the shade cloth you want. You can choose from rectangular, square or triangular shade cloth. But what is the perfect shape for your garden?A triangular shade cloth is suitable for smaller spaces or areas where a rectangular shade cloth will not fit. Thanks to their triangular shape, they fit better in asymmetrical or angular outdoor spaces. Would you like a triangular shade cloth? Then you can choose from several variations, such as 90 asymmetrical, 90 symmetrical, equilateral or unequal.A rectangular shade cloth , in turn, offers more shadow area. They are ideal for patios or terraces.A square shade cloth is a compromise between a triangular and rectangular sunshade. They offer a good balance between aesthetics and functionality. These shade cloths fit both small and medium-sized spaces. They are also a bit easier to install than the triangular varieties.
2. Measure the area where you want to place the shade cloth. This could be your patio, balcony or garden, for example. Take into account the attachment points where you want to hang the shade cloth, such as walls, posts or trees.
3. Subtract a certain distance from the measured area to leave room for stretching the shade cloth. For many shade cloths, this is about 40 cm per side. So for example, if you want a 3x3 m square shade cloth, you need an area of 3.4x3.4 m.
4. Choose the size of the shade cloth that best fits the calculated area. If you can't find a standard size that fits exactly, you can also order a custom-made shade cloth from Platinum.
5. Choose the shade cloth color and material that you like and that suits your garden or balcony. Platinum's Coolfit shade cloths are made of permeable HDPE (high density polythene), a durable and hard-wearing type of plastic. Colors range from white to black, with different shades in between.
