What is the difference between string, cluster & micro cluster lighting?
The bulbs of the classic Christmas lighting, also called string lighting, are slightly larger and are spaced further apart (± 18 bulbs/meter) than with (micro) cluster lighting. Therefore, this type of lighting is often a bit cheaper. With cluster lighting, the lights are playfully arranged on both sides of the cord & are very close together (± 160 lights/meter). Because of this, the Christmas lights create a magical effect in the tree & are slightly pricier. And compromise between the two types of lights is the microcluster.
