Escalo Multifold 4-in-1 Black Lacquered Steel - Folding Ladder with Platform - Height: 90 cm

When safety, versatility, and space-saving are key, the Escalo folding ladder with a 4×3-rung stabilizer is the perfect choice. This ladder combines a solid working height with smart features that make every job easier.

This ladder features a 4-section design (4×3 rungs), for a total of 12 rungs.

As a straight ladder, the height is approximately 3.36 m; in A-frame mode, approximately 1.63 m; and as a step ladder, 0.89 m.
With a maximum working height of approximately 4.30 m, you’ll have plenty of reach for most indoor and outdoor jobs.
Thanks to the two stabilizers (wide support profile with non-slip feet), the ladder remains stable even on uneven surfaces.

The rung spacing is approximately 27 cm, ensuring a comfortable ascent and descent.
The ladder is made of aluminum, which prevents corrosion and simplifies maintenance.
Additionally, the ladder folds up compactly—ideal for storage in a garage, shed, or van.

Key Features

• Number of rungs: 4×3 (or 12 rungs)
• Working height: approximately 4.30 m as a straight ladder (maximum extended length = 336 cm)
• Height in A-frame mode: approximately 1.63 m (working height approximately 2.70 m)
• Working platform height (rack mode): approximately 0.89 m
• Maximum load: approximately 150 kg
• Rung spacing ~27 cm for comfort and safety
• Stabilizing bars + non-slip feet for better grip and safety
• Anodized finish prevents dirt from getting on your hands and reduces corrosion
• Folds down compactly — convenient for storage or transport

Why choose this ladder?

• Safety: Thanks to the stabilizers and non-slip feet, the ladder stands firmly.
• Versatility: multiple positions (straight ladder, A-frame, work platform) make it suitable for a wide range of tasks: painting, roofing, maintenance.
• Wide working range: with a working height of approximately 4.30 m (maximum extended length = 336 cm), you can easily reach higher areas without having to use scaffolding right away.
• Space-saving & easy to store: thanks to its folding mechanism, it takes up very little space when not in use.
• Professional look and quality: aluminum construction, anodized surface, high-quality finish—suitable for both professional tradespeople and avid DIYers.

Applications

• For jobs in and around the house: exterior walls, fascia boards, gutters, painting.
• For workshops and maintenance companies that need a reliable ladder that’s frequently moved or folded up.
• For storage in a van or garage: compact when folded, making transport easier.
• If you’re looking for a ladder that’s safe on slightly less stable surfaces (e.g., garden soil, grass, gentle slopes) thanks to its stabilizers.

Assembly & Usage Tips

• Before use, check that the ladder is properly extended and locked in the desired position.
• Place the ladder on a level surface; the non-slip feet help, but the surface remains important.
• Make sure the stabilizers are free of obstacles (pebbles, branches).
• Operate within the maximum load capacity (150 kg) to ensure safety and longevity.
• Store the ladder in a dry place, away from direct sunlight or harsh chemicals, to preserve the anodized finish and material quality.
• When using as a work platform: ensure the platform is level and securely locked in place—avoid any movement while working.

Technical Considerations

• If you frequently move or transport the ladder: check the condition of the couplings/hinges for wear.
• For outdoor use in winter or other seasons: aluminum can feel cold and become slippery—anti-slip features remain essential.
• Although the ladder offers great versatility, its stability depends in part on the surface and proper setup. Always follow the safety instructions.
