This nesting box provides a warm home for nuthatches and treecreepers! They crawl into the nest box from the side. This opening is narrow & elongated, but the birds will narrow it with their saliva & clay.

This bird nest creates a hiding place in your garden. It provides warmth during the winter months and offers a safe nest for eggs during the spring.

This nesting box is made of FSC wood and has a natural look with a cheerful blue roof. Hang the nesting box from the tree trunk at 250 cm high (or higher).

This is how to choose the perfect spot for the birdhouse!
- Hang the nest high up on the branches of trees so house and neighborhood cats can't reach it! Ideally near shrubs or trees with prickly leaves or thorns.
- Clean the nesting box in September/October so no pests get on it or the birds get sick.
- Find a quiet spot, preferably not facing south. Otherwise, the nesting box will hang in full sun.
- Do not hang the birdhouse too close to the feeding area (that way it is nice and quiet).
- Make sure the entrance is draft-free (northeast facing).
- Give the birdhouse a spot as early as fall so they can get used to it & use the nest as a roost.
