Tip: Use the decorative wooden lid as a coaster while the candle is burning. Have you burned the candle all the way down? Then why not simply reuse the glass jar as a cute cookie or candy jar afterward? (Yay for upcycling!)

• Is this the first time you’re lighting the candle? Let the top layer of wax melt completely. If you don’t, a small indentation will form around the wick, preventing the edges of the candle from melting. This will cause you to lose a lot of burn time!
• Trim the wick to half a centimeter. If you make the wick any shorter, the candle will burn unevenly.
• Don’t let your candle burn for more than 3 to 4 hours! Otherwise, the scent at the bottom of your candle may evaporate.
