This peat-free potting mix is ideal for general use (annuals, vegetables & herbs, and houseplants).
The potting mix contains a carefully selected blend of peat-free ingredients and provides plants with organic nutrients for up to 150 days.
Suitable for use in organic gardens.
This potting mix consists of:
• Green compost: for a stable structure and active soil life.
• Bark compost: makes the potting mix extra airy and retains water optimally.
• Wood fiber: provides an airy and long-lasting fibrous structure. Water is distributed evenly.
• Perlite: creates an airy growing medium with optimal water drainage.
• Plant fibers: thanks to their fine and airy structure, they ensure an optimal amount of readily available water for the plants and good moisture distribution in the potting mix.
Instructions for use:
- Cover the bottom of the new pot with a layer of DCM Hydro Granules.
- Partially fill the pot with potting soil, leaving enough space for the root ball. Remove the plant from the old pot and carefully remove as much of the old potting soil from the root ball as possible
- Place the plant in the new pot and fill the rest of the pot with potting soil. Leave a watering rim of about 2 cm. Firmly pack the potting soil.
- Sprinkle the top of the pot with DCM Hydro Granules or DCM Decorative Bark. This prevents potting soil from splashing when watering and helps the potting soil stay moist longer.
Care
Water thoroughly to ensure good contact between the root ball and the potting soil
