The snowball hydrangea is the absolute favorite among hydrangeas. It bears beautiful (cream) white and (snow) spherical flower pods during the summer, hence its name.
The flowers take on a light green hue in the fall as they unfurl. It is a wide-rising plant with large, serrated leaves. In addition, the plant attracts all kinds of pollinators, such as bees & butterflies, to your garden. You can place the hydrangea alone in your border, but it also looks beautiful in groups. Moreover, you can make beautiful flower arrangements with it or let the flowers dry for a table arrangement in the fall.
In lots of rain & wind, the large flowers may droop a bit, but you can easily solve this with some plant supports.
