Festuca glauca ''elijah blue'' is commonly called blue fescue or blue sheep grass in Dutch. It is a small evergreen grass. It has a particularly compact and almost dome-shaped form.
The leaves are very fine and deep blue-green in color. They remain green throughout the winter.

0.15 to 0.3m. Can also be used as a ground cover.
