Lava Union Eifelgold Lava Powder - 20 kg

This Eifelgold lava powder is a finely ground powder made from lava rock sourced from the Eifel region. It’s a unique and natural product that protects and strengthens your plants in three ways!

First and foremost, this lava powder provides an effective, physical barrier against pests, keeping them at bay and ensuring your plants stay healthy. You can easily sprinkle the finely ground powder over your plants. This protects your plants from fungi and harmful insects.

In addition, this lava powder makes your plants much more resistant to mold growth. This product works primarily as a preventative measure and combats mold spores by drying them out, which prevents them from invading the plant. Lava powder also contains silicon, calcium, magnesium, and a number of trace elements.

What’s more, you no longer have to worry about insect infestations; this Eifelgold lava powder has a drying and abrasive effect on insects that try to feed on your plants. This keeps them away and prevents damage to your plants. Thanks to this property, you can also use this lava dust as a preventative measure against those pesky boxwood caterpillars.

Best of all? Lava dust is a 100% natural product, making it completely safe for people and the environment.
Please note: if you’re looking for a pure soil conditioner, the coarser lava grit is a better choice.

How to use it?

• Spray lava powder every 3 to 4 weeks using a powder sprayer (e.g., Birchmeier Bobby);
• Make sure to cover the leaves as thoroughly as possible;
• Dust the plants when the leaves are slightly damp, preferably on a windless day.

It’s okay if it rains a little (the powder will stick to the leaves), but it shouldn’t be pouring while you’re using this product.
