1 Pheromone capsule against the plum moth - Grapholita funebrana - and is effective for 6 weeks

Why The plum moth creates tiny worms that nestle in the plum and dig passages there. The plum starts to rot and/or possibly falls off the tree prematurely. Unfortunately, you can't do anything about the affected plums. You better pick them so the tree can put more energy in the other fruits.
How to recognize? The moth is +- 8 mm in size and gray in color with blue scales. You can see them from the end of April to September.

The pheromone attracts male plum moths and prevents them from reproducing. Female moths can no longer lay eggs if they are not fertilized. This reduces worm infestation. The plum moth affects both plums, mirabelles, peaches and apricots.

Hang 1 trap (to buy separately) per 5 fruit trees from the end of April. After 6 weeks replace the pheromone.

The pheromone capsule/disc may look different than shown. Of course we always ensure the highest quality pheromone, they are freshly produced and therefore have a shelf life of 2 years in the freezer.

How to use?
Place the pheromone in a delta trap or funnel trap (to be purchased separately). The pheromones are all individually packaged in an aluminum pouch allowing you to drop the pheromone capsule directly from the pouch. This ensures that you do not contaminate the pheromone with the smell of your hands. You should NOT open or touch the pheromoneWhen

- April to September (for later species). Renew the pheromone every 4 to 6 weeks.

How?
- Do not touch the capsule! Your own body odor interferes with the scent. It's best to wear gloves.
- Do not open the capsule!
- Place the capsule in a funnel trap in the place provided. 1 trap per 5 trees.
- The male moths will fly around the pheromone until they get tired and fall into the funnel trap. Once in the funnel trap they can't get out. If you place a delta trap, the moths will stick to the glue plate.

How to store?
You can keep the capsules in the freezer for up to 2 years.
