PLEASE NOTE: The minimum temperature for effective operation is approximately 13°C.
These insect-parasitic nematodes are tiny worms that penetrate their host through the smallest openings. A bacterium carried by the nematodes kills the host. Target organisms include leatherjackets (larvae of the crane fly) in lawns, thrips, and Colorado potato beetles.
How to use?
- Mix the entire contents with 10 liters of water in a bucket. Stir thoroughly until the product is completely dissolved.
- Use a watering can and a measuring cup to dilute the solution according to the table below to a ready-to-use solution of 10 L, then distribute it evenly over 10 m². Repeat steps 2 through 4 until the entire area has been treated. Stir the bucket and watering can regularly to prevent the nematodes from settling to the bottom.
The nematodes are not evenly distributed in the package; therefore, always use the entire contents.
In cases of severe infestation, double the dose from 0.5 to 1 million nematodes per m² or repeat the treatment if necessary.
Avoid direct sunlight! Apply the nematodes on a cloudy day or at the end of the day.
Treatment of wireworms: treat the soil. For effective results, the soil temperature must be at least 13 °C.
Treatment of thrips: Treat the plants and the soil. For effective results, the ambient temperature must be at least 13 °C.
Thoroughly moisten the soil before application and keep it moist for at least 4 weeks after application.
