Baked and washed pellets of pure clay that are safe for plants. For optimal drainage and water distribution in pots. Also suitable as a decorative cover material for indoor and outdoor use. Makes large pots less heavy. Applicable in the organic garden.

Instructions for use:

As drainage and cover in pots and m² vegetable garden containers:

• Use a pot with holes in the bottom so excess pouring water can easily drain into a bottom tray
• Cover the bottom of the pot with a 2-3 cm layer of DCM Hydro grains. These grains ensure that the drainage holes at the bottom of the pot remain open.
• Fill the pot with a first layer of DCM potting soil, place the plant on top and top up further with potting soil. Leave a pouring rim of about 2 cm and press the potting soil well.
• Sprinkle the potting soil with a layer of DCM Hydro grains for a decorative result.

To mix into potting soil and garden soil:

• Mix 5-10 % DCM Hydrokorrels into the potting soil or garden soil to improve drainage or aeration.

As a cover material in the garden:

• Make the soil level and weed-free and sprinkle a 2-3 cm layer of DCM Hydrokorrels.

As a pure substrate for hydroponics:

• Fill the hydroponic pot with a 3-4 cm layer of DCM Hydrokorrels.
• Place the plant in the pot at the desired height and top up further with DCM Hydro Grains.
• Add lukewarm water to the appropriate level indicated on the pot.
