Meadow Flower Mix This meadow flower mix consists of native wildflowers and herb species. Whenever possible, the selection was made to include nectar-producing plants for butterflies and other insects.
Outdoor sowing time: March through June
Light requirements: full sun
Flowering period: June through October (starting about 6 weeks after sowing and continuing into fall)
Sowing instructions:
- From March through June, sow directly in the ground in weed-free soil. Be sure to choose a sunny spot.
- Sow broadcast-style (spreading the seeds very thinly).
- Then lightly rake the seeds into the soil or cover them with a very thin layer of soil.
- Gently press down (e.g., with a small board) and moisten the entire sowing area.
- The seeds will not all germinate at the same time. Overseeding in grass is not possible.
This packet is enough for 125 m².
