Spinach Securo is a specially selected, fast growing spinach variety, suitable for early and late sowing. Slow growing varieties are better for summer cultivation. Securo is intended for outdoor cultivation. The tender leaves taste excellent. This round-seeded variety has limited resistance to the fungal disease wolf (only against physiologic A and B). Sowing: spring cultivation: from March to late April. Autumn cultivation: mid-July to late August. Sow widely (the seed well distributed) in a seedbed or in rows or rows 20 cm apart. Sow in well-loosened soil. Spinach needs a lot of nitrogen. Keep the soil moist. In autumn cultivation sow somewhat thinner than in spring cultivation. Harvest: spring crop: April to June; autumn crop: August to October.
