Pea Eminent is a well-known low-growing, round-seeded pea variety (approx. 50 cm) that does not require climbing support. The yield is high and the quality of the peas is very good. This variety is very suitable for early cultivation and the crop matures quickly. The pods are large and dark green. Sow: from February - when not freezing - until April directly in the garden. Sow in rows or rows 45 cm apart and place the peas in the row 5 cm apart. Make sure that the soil remains sufficiently moist during growth. Do not use fresh farmyard manure. Harvest: first half of June until the end of July. Pick the pods when the peas are still juicy. If you pick too late, the peas will taste mealy. It is therefore advisable to continue picking regularly. Tip: to minimize the risk of fungal diseases, grow peas in the same location only once every 6 years. Suitable for freezing.
