Sowing instructions: Sow in rows indoors year-round, or outdoors in the garden from mid-March through early August. Keep the soil well-moistened. Before sowing, soak the seeds overnight in a bowl of water to speed up germination.

Additional information

Parsley is the most commonly used herb in the kitchen. It’s easy to grow and handy to have in a pot on the windowsill. The flavor is best when freshly harvested. 'Curly Dark Green' parsley forms low-growing plants with fine, dark green curly leaves.

Want to sow parsley?

• For greenhouse cultivation: sow in August–September in rows spaced 20 cm apart.
• For outdoor cultivation, sow between March and June, also in rows spaced 20 cm apart. Do not sow too densely; the plants need some space.

It takes a long time for parsley seeds to germinate; 4 weeks is normal. Keep the soil constantly moist during the germination period and continue to water regularly afterward. Parsley needs plenty of moisture for proper development.

Harvesting parsley

For greenhouse cultivation, the leaves can be harvested from January through March; for field cultivation, from July through September.
