Fine chestnut wood chips that act as a physical barrier to prevent weed growth. Get a nice gray color and decompose very slowly because they come from a hard wood species. Applicable in the organic garden.
Directions for use:
Full ground:
- Clear the soil of weeds
- Apply a layer of DCM Castanea Covers of 3-8 cm and press lightly
Cover planters and containers:
- Sprinkle the potting soil with a 2-3 cm layer of DCM Castanea Coverships
Soil improvement:
- Work DCM Castanea Coverships into the bottom of the soil with a layer of 0.5 - 1 cm
