Our advice? Give the wood an extra coat of water-repellent paint or stain, but only on the outside. Move the hutch to a dry place with tiles or under a shelter, avoid direct contact with damp surfaces. Regular thorough cleaning and thorough drying is key (every 2 to 3 weeks).
