The organically grown Dahlia 'Duet' is a large-flowered red dahlia with white sweeps on the tips of the petals. The wide petals often have a wavy effect and make it a wonderful addition to bouquets. With a flower diameter of 15-20 cm, it is an excellent choice as a cut flower!

To promote long-lasting, lush blooms, it is advisable to regularly remove spent flowers. Dahlias often begin blooming from mid-June and continue until the first frost in October. During the growing season, dahlias develop rhizomes in the soil, which should be removed before the first frost and stored in a dry, frost-free and dark place. If necessary, store the tubers in cardboard boxes with some sand. The following year the tubers can be planted outside again from mid-May, when there is no chance of frost, preferably in a very sunny, sheltered spot with well-drained soil. These perennial plants are not hardy and reach a height of about 100 cm.
