BSI pH Up liquid increases the pH level of your pool or spa.
The pH level of your pool is important because chlorine could do its job properly. So check the pH level regularly with a reusable test kit or disposable test strips.
A pH higher than 7.6 will cause the chlorine to be less disinfecting. As a result, you may experience red eyes or dry skin. If the value is too low, the water is too acidic and may turn a brown color.
Doseper 1m³:
Increase pH by 0.2: 20ml/1m³
The ideal pool values:
- pH: 7-7.6
- chlorine: 1-2.5mg/L
