Novena candle white - Our Lady of Perpetual Succor

Novena candles burn for nine days & nights, hence they are also called 9-day burners. These candles are often burned to seek comfort/strength & express special wishes during difficult times (e.g. illness, bereavement, exams...). You can also burn a novena candle for a family member, friend, acquaintance.... and make a wish for them. The novena candle is associated with the novena. This is a series of nine days during which people pray to God, often in preparation for a feast day (e.g., the Pentecost Novena). The candle reinforces the prayer.

This 9-day burner depicts Our Lady of Perpetual Succor. In the drawing we see the Virgin Mary holding Jesus in her hands. On the left side, the Archangel Michael can be seen. He carries the lance and sponge as objects of Jesus' crucifixion. On the right side, the Archangel Gabriel can be seen carrying a 3-cross and nails.
