Colorful fish in a clear pond are easy prey for herons. The motion sensor of the Velda Laser Guard animal deterrent detects such arriving intruders and has a range of about 12 meters at an angle of 100°.
Among other things, it is effective against herons, as the deterrent uses three methods:
- A variable-frequency flashlight agitates the environment unpleasantly.
- Herons regard the green laser beams as dangerous, moving obstacles.
- The sound of a species-specific distress call, barking dogs and the terrifying howl of the deadly poison frog will deter the herons for good.
-> This deterrent lasts 60 seconds at a time. The frightened intruders will flee and the fish in your pond will be safe again.
